In the 2022-2023 school year, we had 40 volunteer contributors.
The Gavel is published at the beginning of each month for a total of 6 issues a school year.
In the month of October 2023, copies of the Gavel were downloaded 456 times around the world.
The first issue was published in 1953.
Why are we on Volume 72?
Good Question! The Gavel volumes mark different school years, except for twice where it was used to mark different semesters in the 60's. Ever since confusion about the age of The Gavel through the years has led us to think it was older than it was until easy access to digital copies can now confirm Volume 1 Issue 1 was in 1953.
